CrossFit Competitor & Former Acrobatic Gymnast

From her early years to her late teens, Sophie competed in high level acrobatic gymnastics. She then went on to coach other young aspiring gymnasts, and has coached many top young athletes competing in high grade national competitions.
Strength and flexibility were key in Sophie’s success in acrobatic gymnastics, so after retiring from the sport, Sophie went looking for a new hobby in which she could use her key skills to her advantage. After hearing about CrossFit through various channels, Sophie took a visit to her local box and got herself signed up. It was there that she found her passion and her love for the mix of Olympic lifting and gymnastics that forms a huge basis of CrossFit.
‘Competing in CrossFit has led to nutrition being a huge part of my life. Getting the right fuel in my body ready to take on the days of training is super important for my performance in the gym. I love CocoPro, especially to rehydrate myself after a gruelling workout, and I’m looking forward to being part of the team!’
Sophie’s latest venture is with her boyfriend and fellow CocoPro ambassador Jordan, recently opening their own training facility Capacity Functional Fitness in Staffordshire. Their aim is not only to help people reach their aesthetic goals, but to also be able to give people the knowledge and coaching behind having the strength and conditioning that it takes to be a successful, healthy athlete.
