Former Royal Marine Commando Jordan joined the marines at the young age of 16 ¾ (the earliest possible age for all those thinking why ¾), and went through the physical and mental battle of 9 months of brutal commando training. As a keen sportsperson before joining, Jordan’s talent for rugby had been put on the back-burner, until he was scouted by the Navy to play again shortly after finishing his training. He jumped back in to it and found that the new size and speed he had gained made him soar. He found himself playing for the Royal Navy seniors and Combined Service rugby teams. Both prestigious achievements.
Unfortunately he suffered a catastrophic knee injury, which led to 1 reconstruction and artificial ligament repair and 2 further operations to fix it. Due to the injury he found that good rehabilitation was hard to find and that he wanted to help other individuals in his position. He had to change and adapt to a new style of training and go back to basics. This was a godsend. Strength & conditioning became a huge part of his life. “Looking good is great, but being able to back it up is the real deal. Put me on a rower or a barbell in my hand and I will impress you.”
My knee is almost 100%. I love to take on the challenges that others look at and think “no, I’m ok with burpees” (which if you know is unheard of). I provide workout content, as well as tips around fuelling your body to enable it to perform to the best of its ability, so working with CocoPro is ideal.
